Welcome to Emblema

Emblema Live is the open platform that helps tech communities thrive by connecting speakers, participants, organizers and content creators in one unified space.

This documentation is the user-facing handbook of the platform. It is split into three independent tracks. Pick the one that matches what you want to do today. You can always switch tracks or combine them, since the same Emblema account can hold multiple role profiles.

Tracks

Participants

For people who attend events. You will learn how to attend events, collect verifiable badges, leave feedback for the talks you attended and keep your event history in one place.

Speakers

For people who deliver talks. You will learn how to build your public speaker profile, maintain a personal talk catalog, apply to events and collect feedback after every session.

Space Organizers

For people who run events through Spaces. You will learn how to create a Space, run Calls for Papers, manage attendees and check-in, issue verifiable badges (including Open Badges 3.0) and gather feedback.

Before you start

Whichever track you choose, every Emblema user goes through the same two onboarding steps:

  1. Create an account and activate the role profiles you need.
  2. Accept the legal terms so you can use the platform features.
